Volunteer 

Our events are not possible without the support of our community volunteers. Volunteer opportunities could be anything including stuffing race packets, course marshals, registration, set up, tear down and volunteering at different stations during events. If you would like to volunteer for an event, please fill our our volunteer form.

Easter Festivities 

There is something for everyone during our Easter festivities. We host a Community Egg Hunt the Saturday before Easter, Breakfast with the Bunny, a Pre-Teen Egg Hunt, and new in 2024 we will host an Adult Egg Hunt as well as a Pawesome Easter Egg Hunt for Pups. Memorial Day Celebrations

Memorial Service is held at Memorial Park on the Thursday before Memorial Day and our Memorial Parade is the Saturday before Memorial Day beginning at 10:00 am. We are accepting new and returning parade participants. Click here for more information on Memorial Day weekend. 

Tour de Grandview Bike Race 

The Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic is a staple in Grandview Heights. The community shows up for house parties along the course and we host a street party with live entertainment, sponsors, food trucks and a DORA for the day. Click here for more information on the bike race. 

National Night Out 

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. In Grandview Heights, we celebrate the first Tuesday in August with inflatables, local law enforcement, free food, and vendors. Click Here for more information on National Night Out.  

TRI the Heights Youth Triathlon

Kiddos ages 14 all the way to 3 years old get to race through the city streets, competing against other kids in swimming, biking, and running. We can't wait for you to dive into the pool, cruise on your bike, and sprint to the finish line. It's going to be a great chance to hang out with our awesome community and have a blast together! Great Pumpkin Run 

The Great Pumpkin Run 5K and Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot is open to all ages and abilities. Runners and Walkers will enjoy a run through the neighborhoods of Grandview Heights on a closed road course. Click here to register and find more information on the 5K or Tiny Tot Trot. 

Howlin' Halloween/Trick or Treat 

Grandview Heights Public Library and Parks and Recreation team up to make the Library a MUST stop on Trick or Treat Night. Costume Contests every 30 minutes, treats, games and special visitors from Grandview Heights Fire and Police departments. 

Trick or Treat is October 31 from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Fall Fest

Tractor Hay Rides, Food Trucks, Inflatables, pumpkin themed activities and more to keep you and your family entertained for an evening of all things fall! Click here for more information on Fall Fest. 

Holiday in the Heights

Winter Celebration and Tree Lighting Ceremony is a Grandview Heights Annual staple. Ride along Grandview Avenue in the trackless train, ice skate on our iceless ice rink, visit with the live reindeer and check out all of the vendors and sponsors lining the street with activities for you. Movies in the Park

Bring along your lawn chair and blankets and camp out in the park for a movie on the big screen under the stars. Free popcorn available at all of our movie events. 

Next movie is Thursday, October 12 featuring Super Mario Bros. Movie begins at approximately 7:45pm. at Ray DeGraw Park in the Grandview Yard. Grandview Yard is sponsoring this movie. 

Dog Event Series

Our pups feel the love with all of our pup friendly meet ups throughout the year. These include our end of season Dog Swim, Bark in the Park, Walk with the Do(g)c, and new in 2024 an Egg Hunt just for those fur babies. Click here for more information on our pup events.
