Parks & Recreation Advisory Board

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is a seven-member board appointed by the Mayor for a one- or two-year term that advises City Council and administration on Parks and Recreational programming and facility development. The Board typically meets at 7:00 p.m. the second Thursday of each month in City Council chambers. 

Civil Service Commission

The Civil Service Commission is a three-member Commission appointed by City Council for six-year terms. The Commission has the power to prescribe, amend, and enforce rules for classified service. The Commission makes investigations in the enforcement of Civil Service provisions and its rules to ensure compliance. The Commission typically meets at 5:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month.
